Dacre Watson (SH 56-62) writes:

“It has become a rather pleasant custom on the evening before the St Beghian AGM for a number of St Beghians to gather for supper at the Pheasant Inn at Bassenthwaite. On this occasion six of us got together on the evening of 23rd September to put the world to rights and I would like to thank Steve Downham for taking the initiative in making the arrangements. If in future any other St Beghians would like to join us, it can be arranged through Steve and you would be very welcome.” Those present were: Kate Brandwood, Nick Curry (SH 60-66), Steve Downham (G 61-65), John Ogden (FS 51-56), Dacre Watson (SH 56-62) and Mike Brandwood (FS 61-66).”
